Meileen Son Hing is a celebrated fashion stylist, entrepreneur, and creative force with over 30 years of experience across film, television, music, and fashion. Trained in Fashion Design and Advertising, she has worked as a stylist, costume designer, fashion editor, creative producer and co-host of the makeover show Look-a-Like. Her clients include major brands like MAC Cosmetics, L’Oréal, Levi’s, Pepsi and Adidas.

Known for her discerning eye and ability to bring creative visions to life, Meileen has collaborated with top talent across Canada and internationally. She co-founded 1983, a handmade jewelry line in Los Angeles featured in British Harper’s Bazaar and styled CBC personalities nationwide.

As an entrepreneur, Meileen launched IMIJ Wardrobe, a fashion rental studio that served the Canadian film, television, and fashion industries with timeless, high-quality wardrobe pieces. A dedicated advocate for sustainability, she continues to promote mindful consumption and the value of reusing and repurposing clothing.

​

Meileen also served on the Board of Directors for CAFTCAD (the Canadian Alliance of Film & Television Costume Arts & Design), contributing her industry expertise to support and strengthen Canada’s costume design community.
